When you start your blog you might choose the preinstalled WordPress option or go searching. Often they look so business styled and not at what at all what women blogger might want, right?

3 WordPress Themes

Personally, I tend to look for themes that don’t require a lot of work once installed and I delete the ones that are not worth it right away because it takes up space.

When I started the recent redesign of my blog (I hope you like it), I looked a few sights that I had used in the past. Athemes, AngieMakes and a few others. They are all good, but then I found Adelle on BluChic and honestly I wish I could get them all!

To be honest, I like themes with a big header, not too business looking, and definitely tells my audience I’m a girl. All the themes on Bluchic do that, but here are my top 3 favorites.

1. Quinn – It’s a subtle Pink theme that starts off with a big header and then gives space for info about your site. A perfect set up to get you going.

2. Samantha – this is a black and white dream theme. So simple, it is beautiful. Truly made for a graphic artist or other creative to showcase their work.

3. Of course the last has to be the theme I first started out with, Adelle. It truly was a dream theme for me. It was nearly ready to go out of the box and just looks so sophisticated, but not overly so.

It allows you to customize the colors of your fonts and so much more. If you choose this theme you can go wrong.

If none of these seem right for you, that’s ok. BluChic has a lot more. A theme is personal, so just visit the website and I’m confident you will find one that you will love to show off as I did.

Final Thoughts

When you start a website, choosing a WordPress theme may seem overwhelming. Remember there is no wrong answer. Besides if you decide the first one you choose isn’t right for you, you can always change it later.
